Packaging can lie.

In life we judge the thing  from its packaging without going into details. Many a times if the thing seems appealing to our eyes, we make  the decision to go for it without even thinking and if it’s not that appealing than we find thousands of reasons to spurn it.

But do we ever realise that most appealing things can still turn out to be the worst And the thing we eliminate in our disappointment because it’s not wrapped the way we expected it can be a gift from God that we are not able to see.

So whether it’s a thing or a person before forming any judgment just think twice as decision we make today have the ability to alter our future.

  1. I am facing a decision about just such an β€œappealing” thing, whose upfront costs are above what I can afford. Fortunately, the vendor is holding his product, until I come up with the money. That gives me plenty of time to think things through.

  2. This is a really inspiring post, Priti C. I liked when you said, “… most appealing things can still turn out to be the worst And the thing we eliminate in our disappointment because it’s not wrapped the way we expected it can be a gift from God that we are not able to see.”

This is so true for us today as Christians becuase despite us being Christians, we still judge people by their outward appearance.

This reminded me of the part where Samuel went to Jesse’s kids and tried to find the next King of Israel after Saul but with each rejection by God; God finally said this:

“Man looks on the outward appearance but I look at the heart.”

You are right, sometimes the things we are disappointed with and aren’t wrapped the way “We” want them might just be the gift that God has in store for us.
